Our 2025 Executive Committee

Hailey – New Year, New Executive Committee! In December, we elected new Chapter Officers. Over break, we met to plan for the next year to come and each officer was able to share their excellent ideas. Before we all came to Michigan State to begin spring classes, I was able to attend Delta Sigma Pi’s President’s Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. I had an excellent time meeting Presidents from over 300 chapters nationwide and learning new strategies for smooth chapter operations. I was also able to learn more about my leadership style and gain insight on other types of leadership styles. It was a great opportunity and I am so glad I was able to represent our Gamma Kappa Chapter!

Travis – We are heading into the start of our recruitment for Spring 2025 and looking forward to a new pledge class. We have implemented a new event, collaborating with Phi Chi Theta and Phi Gamma Nu, which goes over all the benefits of a business fraternity.

Nicole – I am so excited to be newly elected in this role! I have many new ideas for our chapter and I can’t wait to work alongside this new Executive committee! We have also begun our recruiting efforts for this semester and I’m so excited to get to know these potential new members!

Karl – Last semester, our chapter revived the Business Fraternity Case Competition! While PGN took home the trophy this year, we plan on continuing the event every year. We hope to bring the title back home in the Fall.

Lina – I am looking forward to welcoming a new class of pledges who will both gain value and contribute significantly to our fraternity. My goal is to create an environment in which they feel supported and guided to thrive both professionally and personally.

Raelee – I’m so excited to kick off this new year with our first service event through the non-profit organization, Letters of Love! Letters of Love is a global organization that strives to bring a smile and hope to children suffering from illnesses in children’s hospitals. This is an amazing opportunity for our chapter to support these children through a donation of friendship bracelets!

Alex & Jackson – As our chapter’s Social chairs, we are currently planning numerous events for the Spring semester, including the annual ski weekend trip and a pinning party to welcome our upcoming pledge class!

Abby – This month our chapter will have a DEI event with speaker Jessica Gray, who is the current Coordinator of Student Wellness & Academic Success here at the Broad College of Business! She will be talking to our chapter about mental health and other important insights about wellness in collegiate life.

Ben – I am currently trying to find ways to make our trips and events cheaper for brothers and collaborating with the Fundraising chair to find new ways to keep brothers happy with pricing. We are working on donations and scholarships, hoping to bring funding which would allow more brothers to attend events like our professional trips or LEAD Conferences!

Nancy – I’m thrilled to contribute to promoting our fraternity and its values. I’m looking forward to connecting with alumni, showcasing our chapter’s achievements, and strengthening the bonds within our DSP community!

Evan & Noah – We’re busy planning DSP’s Spring Chicago professional trip. We will be taking 80 brothers to downtown Chicago for company visits, networking sessions, and professional development. Alongside this, we’re also preparing professional development workshops for new members, along with facilitating on-campus company visits.

Colin – I’m currently working on securing education grants to enhance our professional offerings. Along with searching for corporate sponsors that can actively engage with brothers.

DSP Spring Recruitment & MTC

Last week, we were able to meet and get to know many students interested in joining DSP at our Meet the Chapter events! Our info nights took place on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as a professional panel on Thursday and a social game night on Friday.

Our recruitment dates start today and continue through Wednesday. We are super excited to see the new membership we bring!

Please Donate!

Please donate to our chapter if you are able! This donation would go to help funding our trips to LEAD Conferences, which promote professional and leadership development for our brotherhood.
